Research gives permanent bonuses in Kingshot. A good research order makes building, gathering and fighting more efficient for the rest of the game.

Two broad paths

Economy first

Early on, economic research pays for itself:

1. Building speed – every Town Center step finishes sooner.
2. Research speed – all future research gets faster.
3. Gathering and production – more resources per hour.

Then military

Once your economy is steady, shift to:

1. New troop tiers – the biggest jump in army strength. See our troops guide.
2. Troop stats for the troop types you use most.
3. Healing and survival – lowers the cost of every fight.
4. March size – bigger armies and stronger rallies.

Keep research running

• Never leave the research queue idle.
• Use alliance help on long research.
• Save research speed-ups for events that reward them.
