Call of Dragons Gathering Guide: Keep Every March Busy and Safe

Production buildings give you a trickle of resources; gathering gives you a river. Sending marches to resource points on the map is how most Call of Dragons players fund their upgrades.

The basics

• Resource points appear across the map for each resource type.
• Higher-level points hold more resources and are gathered faster with the right heroes.
• Each march slot can gather one point at a time.

The more march slots you keep busy, the more you earn.

Gathering heroes

Some heroes and talent branches boost gathering speed and load. A dedicated gathering hero:

1. Fills a march with as many resources as possible.
2. Finishes faster, so you can send them out again.
3. Frees your combat heroes for fights.

Choosing resource points

Gather safely

Gathering marches outside safe areas can be attacked. To protect them:

• Stay inside alliance territory whenever possible.
• Avoid gathering near hostile alliances during conflict events.
• Recall marches if enemies appear nearby.
• Don’t send your best combat troops to gather – losses hurt more.

Daily gathering routine

1. Check which resource you need most.
2. Send every free march to the best available point.
3. Use gathering boosts during events that reward gathering.
4. Recall and resend marches when they finish.

Common mistakes

• Idle march slots. This is the biggest and most common loss of income.
• Gathering low-level points when higher ones are available.
• Using combat heroes to gather while their army sits unused.
• Gathering far outside alliance territory during wars.

Keep every march busy, gather what you actually need, and stay safe – your City Hall upgrades will never wait on resources again.
