Idle Heroes Event Planning: How to Save Resources for Maximum Value

In Idle Heroes, the same resource can be worth twice as much depending on when you use it. Many events reward you for spending summon scrolls, gems or upgrade materials – on top of the normal value. Spending at the right time doubles your progress.

The basic idea

Instead of using resources the moment you get them, save them until an event rewards their use. Then spend them all at once to hit as many milestones as possible.

Planning around the calendar

Events in Idle Heroes tend to rotate. Watch which events appear and roughly when:

1. Keep a note of events you’ve seen and what they rewarded.
2. When an event ends, start saving for the next appearance.
3. Decide in advance which milestones you can reach – partial efforts are less efficient.

What not to save

• Daily stamina-type resources that cap out – use them, or they are wasted.
• Time-limited items that expire after an event.
• Resources you need right now to clear a wall that blocks daily rewards.

A balanced approach

Saving everything forever isn’t optimal either. A good balance for beginners:

• Spend enough to keep daily progress moving.
• Save the big-ticket items – scrolls, gems, high-star fodder – for events.

Patience is the most powerful resource in Idle Heroes.
